John Hatzistergos, the NSW A-G, has taken a swipe at Michael Kirby who earlier in the week gave a speech proposing some law reform Nocturna divx Cleopatra video
Rather typically for a politician he got a bit full of himself and gave this fluff:
“We have democratically elected politicians with the capacity, the mandate, the authority, the skill and the experience to be able to reflect the values of the community and distil those into legislation.
On a good day, the typical MP meets one of those criteria.

He’s probably just jealous that everyone knows Kirby but not him. I’m not even sure I can pronounce his name…

hey, I clicked on your link and couldnt help but notice that The Australian calls itself the “online newspaper of the year”.. didn’t know it was that popular.

I think The Australian gave itself its own award. It’s not that popular in terms of circulation, but it sets the agenda because it is the paper all the government/political insiders read.
