The year we called it a change

One of Steve Jobs’ favourite phrases whilst he was mindfucking his employees during the early 80s was “let’s make a dent in the universe,” with the addendum, “otherwise why even be here?” He apparently lured John Sculley away from Pepsi with the line “Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life?” More recently he addressed Stanford graduates, speaking about his mercurial ride with the computing industry, a brush with death, and an innate desire to always make a positive impact. Despite his obvious personal flaws, I’m impressed that the CEO if a Fortune 500 company could remain so idealistic.

I guess that’s just a very long-winded way of saying that my new year’s resolution is to “be less cynical”. And to achieve that I’m going to follow the 50 actions in “Change the World for Ten Bucks Pretty Woman move

Crystal River release

The Forgotten Ones aka The Tribe movie

The Legend of Bloody Jack release Cheaters psp

This Revolution move The Replacement Killers movie

Episode list for movie

” (not surprisingly $10).

I’ve already done some of the actions, so to increase the challenge, I have to try and achieve all of actions this calendar year.

We’ll see how this goes.
