. It’s Web 2.0-ey. Basic­ally the site is entirely text-based. You simply add words that you like or find inter­est­ing, and you can com­pile “lists” of these words. You can add com­ments on these indi­vidual words and com­piled lists. And that’s basic­ally it. Yet I find the thing utterly addictive.

Obvi­ously such a site is dir­ec­ted towards a very spe­cific niche of people who get giddy thrills out of the inher­ent beauty and eleg­ance of words and lan­guage, enjoy explor­ing the his­tory and ety­mo­logy of words, and fill the vacuum with witty banter. Check it out.
