If you went there for the news you would be greeted with a tiny column in the middle with the head­lines, sur­roun­ded by a massive sea of pic­tures, ads, and white-space — a totally inef­fi­cient use of space. And for reas­ons unknown they list Arial before Hel­vetica in their stylesheets. It is totally illo­gical as every sys­tem with Hel­vetica also has Arial installed, whereas the oppos­ite is not true. Hel­vetica is also pret­tier than its cheap imitator.

Oh oh! and the RBA lif­ted rates today. This is good for at least two reas­ons. 1. My ING Dir­ect account pays more interest and 2. It (hope­fully) spells the death knell for the Howard government.
